Great accomodation - perched high overlooking the mountain scenery west of Maleny. Good distance beteween chalets so totally quiet. Comfy beds, clean and cosy. We had this place recommended to us and were not disappointed. Richard and Anna were very friendly and fixed a minor fault with a curtain in our accom straight away. We stayed here in November with our family - my parents, husband and our 2 children. We stayed in chalet 7 which is the closest of the 4 chalets to the main area. We chose Solothurn for our farm experience during our OZ holiday due to its proximity to Maleny (for groceries), reasonable rates (incl farm activities) and numerous units available (so that it will not be too quiet for our liking). Stayed there with wife and 4 yo kid for 2 days in nov 2008. Animal farm visit was interesting, but staff was terrible, too busy probably with all the people visiting. We stayed in a motel unit which was dirty. Swimming pool looked like no one used it for a long time and was clearly not maintained and freezing cold.... More
