My wife spent a single night at the hotel. We found it comfortable and without any drama. The staff was especially polite and helpful. More

This is my favorite hotel in Columbus. I've stayed quite a few times and loved it so much that we used it for our wedding. The front desk staff are always very helpful and friendly. I really enjoy the comfort and cleanliness of the rooms. I've never had a single compliant. When we reserved a block of rooms for our... More

Let me start off on a positive note. The front desk staff are fantastic! Now the bad news: I found hair on the toilet seat cover that could be seen 5 feet away. Also, there are four water glasses in the room, all of which you would not drink out of. My bed sheet had distinctive stains on it. Staying... More

Stayed here two nights on a business trip. The service was outstanding, people were very friendly and helpful. The room was clean and the bed very comfortable. The major drawback was the bathroom door which was a heavy bi fold thing which my wife feared! Also needed to go completely into the shower to turn it on, getting blasted with... More

This was a very nice, clean hotel is a great location downtown. However for the expensive price you would think that a shuttle or a continental breakfast would be provided. More

Service indeed makes all the difference to a well travelled biz person. Renaissance certainly has that -- and in spades! Let's start with the front desk: always friendly and with a "can do" attitude. They certainly observe and effervesce the Renaissance tag line of "Delighted to Serve". If your wait is long due to a line, they are always apologizing... More

The Renaissance is a premium Marriott location in the heart of downtown Columbus, OH. The rooms have all been updated as has the lobby and bar area. The staff is very friendly. The location puts you within walking distance of a lot of the Columbus highlights and a short cab ride to many great restaurants. If you are looking for... More

A trip with my son to Columbus for a hockey game was a good one overall for our first trip to Columbus. The Renaissance was well placed centrally between "uptown" and "downtown" for convenience in walking around town. The lobby was sparse. Getting food late was only available at a crowded bar. The rooms were pretty standard, so not really... More

Staying at the Renaissance in downtown Columbus with a 9 month old grand baby while my daughter attended a conference during the day. First the wireless would not work and after many attempts working with the staff we gave up, they did not charge us for this service. A hotel of this status should be able to provide wireless service... More

This is not your typical Marriott Renaissance. The place has been remodeled. That said, a new rug, paint and headboards do not equal 'new'. Overall the experience was ok. Check in went quickly. There were two clerks. Lots of activity in the hotel as it was the day before the Super Tuesday Primary (this hotel is right around the corner... More
