not too many years ago a hotel just provided a nice bed, a few amenities and we were satisfied to sleep and leave. as travelers get more "sophisticated" everyone winds up paying more for things that aren't really necessary and often unused if you are just looking to sleep and move on. clearly this is a former Ramada being resurrected....
