even though it is situated in the heart of the city the cost is very high. even they do not provide a lcd tv. also there was no cable connection the day I stayed.no pool also. morning complimentary breakfast was good. not worth the money they charge.

Being the only star hotel in Kanchipuram, the earlier splendour, cleanliness and charm is lacking. Rooms need improvement, restaurant is cramped though food is good. The only charming feature about staying here is that you are in the heart of Kanchipuram and close to the silk saree centers - especially the Pachiappas.

As there are few hotels here, this one is a good choice. Anyway it is not the same standard as other GRT. The rooms are a bit old and it is extremely noisy. The breakfast is very basic.
