Southwold is an affluent tourist destination on the East Coast of England in Suffolk, and it's a very well cared for, thriving place. This hotel stands in the very centre of the town, in sight of the sea and is a sizeable hotel that's clearly a hub for the restaurant and bar for the town.

My wife and I stayed here for 3 nights recently.
We were not disappointed. The whole package is really good.
From the greeting at the reception, to the room, the breakfast and the evening meal we enjoyed it all.

Visited in April, and chose due to location.
Room was in the garden area, at the back of the hotel, so chalet type room. Very well furnished, good spec, comfortable and clean.
Breakfast very good, and dinner was superb too.
