Arrived on a Thursday for one night, welcomed in and escorted to our superior kingsize room (room 3) brilliant evening meal and breakfast, staff excellent. Had a fantastic stay having only ever camped in Southwold before, with children that have now grown up an flown the nest. Will definately stay again. More

I booked this hotel for my second visit to Southwold. It is conveniently located for all the towns amenities, the beach, the pier and the town centre. The hotel rate was reasonable for bed and breakfast. My room was on the top floor and as is often the case when travelling alone the single room and shower room were functional... More

We stayed at the Blyth Hotel for 2 nights, bed, breakfast and dinner deal £120 per night for 2. Food excellant, staff charming if occasionally a little haphazard. Short walk to beach and town centre. Wonderful walks. Only downside was our room, No.2 a standard room incredibly small for 2 adults and a dog. More

Southwold in Suffolk, England is one of those must see places in the UK and this hotel provides the ideal location for your visit. Conveniently located for the beach and the town, easy to walk to these and across to Walberswick. The staff were very friendly and attentive, excellent food and of course Adnams beers(be sure to do the brewery... More

We stayed in April and have to say that it is very clean, tidy and comfortable. Every staff member was polite and helpful. We felt that the owners were professional and attentive. We took the time to complete that feedback form at the hotel very honestly and felt that our comments had been viewed as such. The food at the... More

I was staying in Reydon about a mile away and we came to this restaurant for lunch. The food was excellent, British food with a lovely, welcoming ambiance and great staff. However, the prices were quite high going up to 12 pounds for a simple plate of fish and chips or a burger, so that can be quite bad if... More

This was our first stay at The Blyth in Southwold. It was a lovely welcoming hotel, felt homely but still maintained a modern and professionally run hotel. Our room was lovely and spacious and bed was very comfortable. Smart modern bathroom. All very clean and well maintained. The restaurant had a very relaxed atmosphere and the food was out of... More

What a pleasant surprise. This was our first experience of a Groupon deal and we weren't disappointed. The room(no 10) was delightful with a very comfortable king-size bed. The shower room looked newly fitted with a great double size shower cubicle. The afternoon tea on arrival was delightful - especially as it included a glass of pink fizz!! Would thoroughly... More
