We arrived as a group of 4 cycling from London to Paris last weekend. The staff welcomed us and our bikes which they stored for us over night. The rooms were clean and comfortable with plenty of hot water just what we needed after a long day. Breakfast great and set us for the ferry and a days cycling in...

My wife, myself and our little boy needed an overnight stay when I was travelling on business and we decided to try Newhaven Lodge.
Phil was extremely helpful and pleasant and kindly gave us the choice of rooms, which meant our little boy had his own space in a bunkbed and we got a bit of peace.
Slept very well...

Me & a couple of friends stayed at the Newhaven Lodge recently following the first day of a 3 day cycle to Paris. We were shattered by the time we arrived and really needed somewhere good to stay, fortunately we found the Newhaven Lodge. The owner was a really nice chap who looked after us right from the first moment...

Recently stayed here for a girlie weekend in Brighton; at arrival we were greeted by an odour of chip fat, dirty carpets and an OVER familiar landlord! There were no signs of the B&B being family run! On entering our room the light switches were taped over and there was an extension cable screwed to the wall instead of plug...

My mother and I arrived jet lagged from the US and found a sanctuary at the Newhaven Lodge. The room was wonderful, the shower hot, the proprietors warm and helpful and the breakfast perfect. It was a great beginning to our holiday.

A group of 4 of us were cycling from London to Paris and this was our final stop before the ferry to Dieppe. We were initially given one large bedroom for all of us, but the owner realised that 2 of us were a couple and quickly changed rooms for us which i thought was very accommodating. The rooms were...

Newhaven lodge is a sympathetic bed and breakfast, a short bus ride away from Brighton and much cheaper than any accommodation you can find there. We received a warm welcome, the room was clean and everything necessary was provided, including a courtesy tray for tea or coffee and biscuits. The beds were ok although a bit hard for my preference,...

We stayed here just for one night to attend a family party nearby. Very friendly welcome and shown to our room, Given a key to come and go as we liked with no silly rules about when we had to be back by. Owner didn't want money straight away which was nice, happy to settle up in the morning.

My partner and I were looking for somewhere to stay near Brighton as my sisters were running in the Brighton Marathon. We stayed at the Newhaven Lodge and found it perfect for what we wanted. The Guesthouse was clean, warm and comfortable and ideally located just a 10 minute walk from Newhaven Town Station which took us right into Brighton....
