Went to pier view for the weekend to meet friends, which i looked up on tripadvisor and we all had a great time.The hotel is beauitful,rooms were lovely,clean and fresh.The breakfast was lovely as is the breakfast room with great view's of the sea and pier.The owner's and the staff were very friendly and helpful.would definately recommend the pier view. As usual Trip Advisor comes up Trumps AGAIN. 1st Class Boutique Hotel. Lovely friendly owners,who go the extra mile to ensure your stay will be a memorable one. We stayed one night at Pier View on the spur of the moment. It was a perfect stay. Ed and his wife were very friendly and helpful. The accommodation was excellent, as was the continental breakfast. Pier View is in an ideal spot for the sea front with great views of the Pier from teh breakfast room. Highly recommended. More

Great place to stay in Southend. Friendly welcome and a really comfortable room, bed was lovely and cosy. Parking provided very close by and the breakfast was delicious! Saniflow in the bathroom was a bit noisy but not really an issue. Would definitely return if I ever found myself in Southend again...it's proper boutique accommodation, definitely recommended! More
