I stayed in the Campanile for obe night with my partner so we could have a night out in Mnachester. On arrival the receptionist was very welcoming and helpful (Emanuella) I think her name was. We had a late check in (3pm) so when we arrived our room wasnt ready, so we were able to leave our car in the... More

I stayed in the Campanile with a friend for a weekend visiting Manchester. The twin room was somewhat small but functional and well equipped and had everything we needed incl fridge, water boiler, TV. The room and the attached bathroom were well cleaned and beds were comfortable. You may hear some noise from the big street around the corner but... More

I have an experience of lots of travels in many European countries. I may say there aren't many places where I've seen so good reception. The staff was friendly. I did not expect to see anything special inside the room, but apart of cold floor in the bathroom (my room was 26 in the basement), which I had to fix... More

Having stayed here for 2 nights I would return as it was value for money. Fine if you were just sleeping in the room and not in it during the day. However I will NEVER eat in the restaurant again. It was awful. After getting our orders taken it took 20 minutes for food to arrive, then halfway through eating... More

It started of wonderful, nice polite welcome at reception. Then it all went wrong! The food is disgusting, thank god there is a McDonald's local, it's a 12pm check out, but your woken up at 8am with hoovers, banging trolleys and polish lady's, who speak no English trying to gain access to your room, and then not understanding a word... A weekend away with my son and friend for football. The hotel staff were very friendly and helpful. The twin room was basic but comfortable and coffee and tea was provided, I have stayed in more expensive places and never had this supplied. The room was a bit tired deco wise but ok for a one night stay. Breakfast was... More

Service at reception was fine. Immediately felt uncomfortable with the building. Rooms were in a block, seperate from reception and bar. It felt like a high rise block of flats, i wouldnt have felt safe on my own. 1st room was on ground floor n was stinkyyy, really musty and damp. Got moved no problem to large corner room. This... Fantastic Weekend away, Football and partying in Manchester, stayed at the Campanile, (we've stayed in France in one of these) Room was a great deal on Laterooms, walking distance (ish) to Old Trafford but we found a pub on the way! Hotel has a gated car park and small but very clean rooms perfect for our needs, Breakfast sorted out... More

We were visiting Manchester to see a show and wanted a hotel for one night that was central and inexpensive (contradictory requirements)! Most hotels seemed to be >£50 and parking inevitably extra. The Campanile was under £40 and included parking. It didn’t include breakfast within the price but having read a number of TripAdvisor reviews we booked it. Our expectations... More
