Visited today for lunch after a walk in the forest. On entering a strange smell was evident - reminiscent of vomit overlaid with cleaning fluid. we went in here for a meal but only stayed for a drink!!! didn't like the look of the place - very grubby and smelt of wet dog. We even took our drinks outside. it was cold but we couldnt stay in the pub - sorry!!! nice garden though! More

Had a lovely stay, room clean, comfy, warm and had everything we needed (only comment is that a bigger/more powerful shower head would have been good) Ideal for dog owners as lovely walk behind pub and enclosed pub garden.
