The location was perfect. However although the rooms were clean, the bed was very uncomfortable, the pillows hard, and the duvet very thin. The plumbing was very noisy and the shower in my daughters room didn't work so she had to use ours. Be careful pulling into the car park as the severe ramp, broke the exhaust on my car... More

We stayed at this hotel when going to the Harry potter experience. Little did we know how convenient and comfortable our stay would be. We could have almost walked to the studios . The staff were pleasant and helpful, the room was quirky but nice, shame about the plumbing but that didn't spoil anything. Service and food was great. We... More

We stayed here for one night whilst visiting The Making of Harry Potter, which is literally a 4 minute drive up the road. When we arrived we were greeted and taken straight to our room. It was very clean and tidy and had lots of tea and coffee, which was very much appreciated after a long drive! We stayed in... More

I booked this hotel with 3 friends to attend a nearby wedding. We made the reservation weeks in advance, only to receive a call 4 days before we were supposed to stay cancelling our reservation. The hotel's excuse was that they had guests staying during the week who had decided to extend their accommodation at the last minute. They obviously... More

I viewed this accomodation both via the hotel s own web site and also on 2 booking sites which stated that they had 5+ rooms double and twin were available. I confimed the booking by email 5/6 weeks prior to our stay and also spoke to the owner, I again confirmed my booking of a double room at Kings Lodge... More

Loveky room....we stayed in 'Whippendell'. Which was a lovely sized bedroom with a separate bathroom up some quaint stairs. Really friendly and accommodating staff? Nothing too much trouble and we were made to feel very welcome with our 1 year old. We ate a lot at the hotel. Food was hood and good value for money. The walls between us... More

Enjoyed a pleasant weekend here despite some confusion over the booking (owner thought we had booked only one night, but we had booked two which meant that he had to move someone else to the second Inn that he owns in the village). Add to that the fact that the bathroom door lock managed to get stuck, the solution to... More

Stayed here for a friends wedding that was at Hunton Park up the road - we'd left it too late to book and it was full. Decided to stay here as it was so cheap and so close and were pleasantly surprised. The owner was unbelievably helpful didn't stand on ceremony and the room was clean and had all we... More
