This B&B has all the requisites of a well run, clean and modern establishment that deserves its 5 star trip advisor rating. What sets it apart is its unique location over an equally clean Morgan garage and its owner Melvyn and his love of all things Morgan, which turned our stayed from merely a weekend away into a truly memorable... Having recently returned from 5 weeks of motoring the dales and vales of England, Wales, and Scotland in our '63 Morgan, we can unequivocally say that no other accommodation held a candle to the quality and value of our night at the Pit Stop. Our intention was to have Melvyn modify "Sherwood's" cover slightly which couldn't be done, as it... More

This is a very unique B&B! I was welcomed by Melvin at my car who offered to carry my bag to my room. The rooms are fabulously bold with Morgan touches at every turn. It still looks brand new despite being a few years old as the decor is kept fresh and clean. I loved the diner where you can... More

We booked two of Melvyn and Sindy's rooms as we were travelling with our adult children. They had the twin Art Deco room and we had the Indian themed room. Both were absolutely beautiful, very comfy, extremely clean and probably the best night's sleep we had all week. My husband really enjoyed the car museum as he is a car... More

Hello Elaine I am so sorry your sleep was so disturbed by amorous guests in the room next to yours. Our walls are made from solid concrete so it must have been really loud to wake you up. It is a shame you did not bang on the door to tell them to quieten down, but can understand your acute... More

If the definition of having a good time is being sorry to leave, then staying at this magical place is definitely a good time. Everything, outside of our room which was richly Edwardian (as named), was bright and dazzling. The rooms are really quiet and peaceful which is like an extension of the beautiful little village in which it is... More
