It’s not often that I score a hotel so low, but I have made this an exception. Regrettably my company’s policy has a maximum rate for overnight stays so it is often pot luck especially in the South East but this is the worst I have experienced. Given a room, I first found that the TV did not work, one... More

Dirty, no toiletries, no iron, old half eaten biscuits on the floor, broken tv, terrible staff. Think of an old horror movie starting in an old, smelly, dark hotel. Please stay somewhere else. More

I'm here now just about to check out. Ok its not a faceless holiday inn or travel lodge. That's why I have enjoyed my stay. It's a family run hotel. From reading reviews I was worried when checking in. The bed was clean (i mention this because people said they weren't) the room was nice, its next to a main... More

Room filthy, poor tea making facilities, only one towel, alternative room offered hadn't even had beds made and used cups removed (this was at 9.00pm when we checked in), we checked out 15 minutes later! Only one other car on car park, I wonder why. More

Only stay here if all other options for budget accomodation in this area have been fully exhausted. Full payment for accomodation required at check in. Odd ? Hotel and room was very dated and reminded me of b&b i once stayed in back in the early 70s up north when i was lad. Had to go to the local garage... More

Ok so the maid had been slack in readying the room and parts of the hotel are gently decaying but because so much is down to expectation (and I didn't expect much) this place served my purpose. The staff are clearly the best asset, especially the nightwatch & breakfast team. Breakfast very good. I am amazed frankly at previous reviews... More

I booked this hotel for one night to attend an interview the following day, oh how I wish I hadn't! I booked the previous week and noted there was a restaurant, therefore my evening meal was sorted. I arrived around 7pm, checked in and given the keys to room 8. Having given the bed a quick inspection I visited the... More

Booked 2 rooms, one was very tired, dirty carpet, cracked sink, iron burn on the carpet, the other room was quite nice. The breakfast was self service and not too bad. The staff were very friendly though. More

I arrived after a long day and after seeing the room i checked back out again!! The bathroom was tiny and very dirty. Toilet hadn’t been flushed so a poo was there to welcome me! – Disgusting!! The mattress should have been condemned and was covered in stains!. Also had what looked like rolling tobacco on the sheets. Carpet heavily... More

I attended a celebration party at The Langley Hotel this month. My husband and I should have been staying at the hotel but on reading the reviews we decided not to. I am so pleased that we made that decision. On arrival all the net curtains looked as if they had been at the windows for years without a wash.... More
