Just returned from a 2 night stay in the white room. Huge room taking up full width of first floor, massive comfy bed and en suite bathroom. Tasteful decor, hospitality tray and tv. 5 mins or less to walk in to Whitstable. Lovely brekkie, cooked to order. But aside from all this what really makes Cliftonville House a home from... More

Just come back from a very enjoyable weekend in Whitstable. It was a last minute thing and we were lucky enough to get a room here. We stayed in the White room which was gorgeous. Spotless, spacious and bright with a lovely king size bed. Felt like a home from home. As well as tea/coffee making facilities there's also a... More

We were also delighted by the hs and hers bathrobes. Sue was a fabulous host - so welcoming and eager to please. She made us a delicious... More

My husband and I had a very enjoyable two nights in the White Room at the Cliftonville House in March. Sue, the owner, is very kind and has lots of good recommendations for what to do in the area. The room was spotless and very comfortable, and the breakfast was lovely. More

This place is perfect, near to the main high street but not noisy at night. Lovely clean rooms and brilliant breakfast! We stayed in the White Room which is stunning and the bed is huge... Best of all the host Sue is lovely and makes you feel very welcome. Highly recommended. More

We stayed for a week at Cliftonville, 6 nights in the lemon room and 1 night in the lemon room. The rooms were clean, tastefully decorated and comfy. English breakfast was very good. Sometimes going on holiday with a young baby can be difficult but Sue (the owner) made things so easy. Extras such as cot, highchair, use of microwave... More

Sue was an excellent hostess, friendly and helpful with recommendations for places to eat and drink. Breakfast was hearty and Sue was flexible with timings. We really... More

Thanks Sue for a fabulous stay at Cliftonville House. MMy boyfriend and I stayed for one night midweek, midwinter and were treated to the comfiest bed ever in the big, bright, White Room. Sue advised us on the best local hangouts, and we took her advice and headed to the Pearson's Arms and Samphire for loads of degustational delights. Breakfast,... More

Excellent value for money we stayed in the White Room. The room was bright, warm, large and spotless. Massive bed and sanded floors gave it that extra something. Sue was friendly, super keen and flexible. Breakfast was hearty and eaten in the pretty front room. Ten minutes walk from the sea-front. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it... More
