Have just spent the weekend at Townend Farm, not only was the room spotless, spacious and well equiped, the hostess was so friendly and helpful, the breakfast spot-on, and the weather unbelievably sunny!!!! My brother in law and I normally do a 60-70 mile walking trip around September time and usually book into bed and breakfast or small hotels. Just stayed for 3 nights while in the area visiting family. Beautifully equipped rooms.Spotlessly clean. Well appointed. The little extras in the bathroom such as shampoo, shower gel, moisturiser and bath robes were an added bonus.
