My review is only for the food here, as we stayed elsewere in Filey. Came to this place after looking for dog friendly pubs/eateries on the internet whilst on my mobile phone. In filey for the day, just had my two labradors on the beach and in the sea, myself and hubby fancied some lunch, so after a walk round... More

Thanks for the feedback it's always useful. Not sure when you stayed with us but we've had a refurbishment during May so it looks quite different now inside and out. Glad you enjoyed our food - the roasties are actually always fresh (same potatoes as the chips) and cooked in dripping! More

The hotel offered good value for money and a decent room. Unfortunately it also came with loud noise outside the rooms until 5am, if you are looking for a room to sleep in this probably isn't the best option More

Unfortunately your stay was during the Filey Folk Festival which we are the main venue. We do not close until 2am on Fridays and Saturdays and in this case Sunday. On the night you stayed the pub was closed by 2.30am so I can only assume the noise was from other guests or elsewhere. To avoid this in future we... More

The station accomodation is great value for money. We stayed one night and so wanted a basic bed and breakfast setup. The station was a bargain at £35 including breakfast for two. The rooms are across a yard from the pub, so it is very quiet and not disturbed. You have your own front door to come and go as... More

We stayed overnight at The Station. The accommodation is indeed plain & simple, yet adequate for our needs. It has a central location, an easy stroll from the main street. We had a complaint which was speedily rectified along with profuse apologies, so no harm done. The breakfast was large, consisting of juice, cereals, full English with toast & preserves.... More

Sunday 12 Feb and three days into our holiday in Filey. The guest book in our cottage told of the fabulous pub across the road, The Station, and what awesome fayre they served. The poster in the pub window proclaimed the same, and claimed to serve full sunday roasts from 12-3pm. On the strength of this, we decided to visit... More

These rooms are converted outbuildings separate from the Pub, and benefit from fridge, microwave, cutlery etc. which could make for a very economical holiday for families on a budget or lads on tour. However, the conversions appear to have been done as a DIY project back in the 1970s, with only electrical appliances having been upgraded since. The prices charged... More

Although it may look a bit 70s our rooms have all been refurbished within the last 18 months and I'm sure you'll hear plumbing noises in any accommodation where there is a upper floor. Yes, you can sometimes get equivilant priced TL rooms if you book in advance but you don't get dvd, microwave, fridge, toaster and a fully eqipped... More

My husband booked this as a last minute one night escape to the coast and although I was a bit dubious about staying in a pub I couldn't be more surprised and delighted in the quality of the rooms on offer. No wonder people regularly return to the Station for holiday accommodation for a week or two, the en-suite rooms... More
