We were three walkers staying for two nights at the end of March 2012. The rooms were spacious, comfortable and had evrything you need. The food was excellent and the hosts were very friendly and helpful. We could not fault it. Highly recommended. More

This is truly a special home, steeped in history with original floors and carefully chosen pieces decorating the rooms and sitting room. Philda is a hostess with warm charm and great knowledge of the area. Sitting outside for breakfast overlooking the well manicured garden tended by husband Des, is a delight! Home grown fruit and veggies, warm baked bread make... More

Beautiful room with lovely views over the countryside. Comfy bed, and beautifully decorated. Breakfast was great in a sunny breakfast room overlooking the garden. Friendly hostess. Would definitely recommend. More

Arrived to a very warm welcome from Barbara and Gordon (and Molly). The accommodation is excellent. Lovely rooms, comfy beds, clean and well equipped. It was nice to spend an evening with the family in the cosy lounge, with a glass of red wine, in front of roaring fire. Gordon even popped in to put a couple more logs on!... More

We were only there one night, but this really is an excellent place. Huge room (complete with large flat screen TV and DVD player) and really comfy bed. Great breakfast. Welcoming hosts. And it's just a short stroll from the town and museum. Highly recommended More

Gordon actually gave us a lift to the wedding venue we had come to attend (thanks again Gordon!) which meant we... More
