Lovely place, lovely host and hostess, lovely food....To be greeted at the door by name makes you feel very welcome indeed. Stuart and Janie cannot do enough for their guests and allowed access to the cellars for a mountain bike. One tiny tiny little downside can be the lack of parking behind the house. This friendly b and b certainly lived up to the reviews. Spotlessly clean and comfortable - I had the best nights sleep in the wonderful bed and crisp white linen. Special little touches like chocolates in your room and quality toiletries. Janey and Stuart could teach some 5star hotels the meaning of customer care, comfort and cleanliness. More

Nothing is too much trouble for Janie & Stuart-Great hosts. Rooms are spotless and warm on a cold April weekend. Breakfast perfect,loads of choices cooked to perfection. Stuart's local knowledge is vaulable,good recomendations for local pubs etc. Our group of 10 had a great stay and enjoyed all the banter,would definately stay here again. More

My wife and I spent a night at Ebor at the end of March. So lucky we chose it after looking at a couple others. Unfussed, friendly hosts, with attention to detail. Lovely beds and hot and cold fresh breakfasts. Probably the best B&B I've had in the Dales. More

Stayed at Ebor house 13th-15th April for my anniversary with my partner. Janie and Stuart were lovely and accommodated us well with our late arrival. Stayed in kingsize room, it was lovely..couldn't fault anything, great rooms, lovely breakfast, great location (about 10 minute stroll to centre) and lovely people. Can't wait to return! More
