Stayed for just one night after a days walking in the dales. Wish it was longer. Friendly staff and comfortable room. When we got back we were starving so decided to eat straight away. Stayed at Hotel , for 2 nights recently. Rooms very nice, great nights sleep, breakfast very nice, could do with a bit more heat in breakfast lounge. Owners very helpful.Lovely town, selection of pubs/restaurants,again nice.Good walking area, And of course Wensleydale cheese factory 2 minute walk from the hotel.Would return More

Good central location. Parking ok but not on Tuesday (Market Day). The welcome was businesslike but not warm or particularly friendly. Room was very nice but mould in the shower cubicle. Breakfast was in a nice room but very cold. The fire could have been put on but sadly wasn't. The food was nice, good cooked breakfast. More

Very recommendable guesthouse in the centre of village. Easy parking just outside the front and lots of Dinner options in walking distance. Very comfortable beds and good breakfast. More
