Yet another great stay at West Acre,as always a lovely welcome from Bruce and Jeannette. Spacious rooms, great parking and so good to be able to leave the car and walk into town, restaurants, Alnwick Castle etc. Afternoon tea on arrival always welcome, and excellent choice of breakfast each morning.

A really first class B&B, rooms were a good size and well appointed, beds comfortable, fresh towels daily and great breakfasts. Bruce & Jeannette were extremely hospitable and helpful and the house is situated in a quiet area and provided an ideal location to explore the surrounding area. Parking was easy and their garden was a joy.

After travelling it was very thoughtful to be greeted with a pot of tea in the garden room and a chance to relax. Excellent is a word I wouldn't use very often in ratings but is the only one to use about all aspects of West Acre House and the hospitality of Bruce and Jeanette. Jeannette and Bruce are excellent hosts. Warm and welcoming, they have created a superb house for guests. The breakfast room has beautiful white linen-laid tables, and the breakfasts are perfectly cooked and presented. What more could you want?

Very comfortable beds, charming hosts, they have thought of everything. It was like being at home. The sherry, fruit and nibbles in the room was a lovely touch as was the tea and cake on arrival. Breakfasts were excellent - in fact not a bad word to say. We would recommend this 5* B&B to anyone.

You must stay here! Jeanette welcomed us with tea and cake in the garden room before showing us up to our room - the Oriental room. It was huge! The room was beautifully furnished and very comfortable. Lovely toiletries in the bathroom, tea/coffee and biscuits and sherry in the room were such a lovely touch.
