Beware, this is a very shabby B&B. Our room was so dated with an ancient bed, lighting poor. Bathroom no shower or shower attachment, towels old, hard and full of holes. Breakfast overcooked and greasy.Jam served with mould on top. Not worth the money, needs updating and some nice touches need adding to justify £70 a night. More

We were given the attic room due to our dog. It was freezing. Bathroom was very old and we had old towels that were in worse condition than the ones I use for my dogs. I should think the room is a health and safety nightmare. The food at breakfast was ok but very greasy, and there was a lot... More

Bamburgh Hall farm offers one surprise after another. for sheer jaw-dropping accomodation and a delicious breakfast in style, nothing to beat it. In a county of fantastic B&Bs, this came out high on our list because it was so unusual. Our host were most welcoming and oh dear, I was another who left my mobile phone charger behind and had... Ooo, I’ve never written a review on tripadvisor! But I adore Bamburgh Hall Farm! In total I’ve spent nearly 5 weeks as a visitor here. I write novels as a profession and use it as a place to bolt to from London when I have a deadline looming. I have not long left Bamburgh Hall and am already plotting my... More

If you're looking for the New York Hilton, this is not it! If you are looking for a great base to explore the Northumberland coastline and exquisite town of Bamburgh for a very reasonable price then you should definately consider this venue. Charles and Barbara are wonderful hosts - they open up their home and were very accomodating when we... More

On arrival after a day of travelling Barbara offered us a cup of tea to be taken in the sitting room. Tea, in an enormous pot, was brought along plus a plate of hot buttered crumpets with jam or honeycomb and a bowl of fresh raspberries. What a lovely welcome! Our rooms were equally welcoming with tea and coffee making... More

We have just spent a lovely couple of nights at the Bamburgh Hall Farm B&B. Ideally situated right in the centre of Bamburgh Village, this lovely old property oozes character and history. Charles and Barbara Baker Cresswell are excellent hosts with a fund of local knowledge, extremely welcoming and very generous. Our room was spaceous, with the most comfortable bed... More

a friendly and open-minded couple thats doing a great job! Breakfast was one of the best we had on our 9-Day-Trip from London to Glasgow: Very tasty, very well done. This old atmospheric house right next to the church is well worth a longer stay. Parking is no problem also, and Barbara and Charles, the owners, are uncomplicated and helpful.... More

We booked to say three nights at Bamburgh Hall Farm at the end of a two week holiday in North Yorkshire and Northumberland. As mentioned by other reviewers, the professional website, the photo of the lovely looking property, and generally highly positive reviews, meant we were really looking forward to our stay. Unfortunately we were terribly disappointed. First the positives... More

"Going back in time" farm house...hospitality of hosts Barbara & Michael was first class...choice at breakfast was excellent...little extras e.g. kit-kat & biscuits with tea coffee & chocolate drinks in the bedroom. Don' t expect "all mod cons" as you would have in a Hotel, apart from the on suite...but an experience we would want to have again, More
