We visited the Beadnell Towers twice in a fortnight while on holiday in Beadnell so I am only reviewing the restaurant and not the hotel. The bar (in which food is also served) and the restaurant are quite extensive, but it can get busy so it is worth booking. Surroundings are clean and comfortable, but to my mind a bit... More

Our fourth visit to the Towers and all is well, our room was well equipped and the bed was very comfortable. All our meals were beautifully cooked, breakfast is as big as you want and the menu for dinner was wide ranging with all options genuinely sourced locally. A couple of issues with the smaller room were dealt with quickly... More

Called here whilst stopping in Beadnell village. Meal was excellent, would recommend terrine starter & whitebait plus the steak and Farne island bitter pie. Nice staff. Popular even on a Thursday evening with the rain lashing down so would recommend booking. More

An excellent hotel in an ideal location. Just spent two nights but exceptionally enjoyable. Breakfasts set you up for the day with some of the best black pudding I have ever had. The vening meals were extremely good and very filling, indeed the fishcake starter on the first night hardly left room for the main course. The llambs liver was... More

We were up in Beadnell for a week at Easter and this pub was 5 mins walk from our holiday cottage. I cannot recommend it enough, the food was absolute fabulous, delicious and highly recommended. My children loved it. The first night we went we managed to get a table, but in view of the number of people there we... More

Having visited this restaurant in 2010 I was moved to submit a report on the excellent meal we enjoyed. Intending to repeat the experience this year whilst on holiday in the area with same group of friends my wife made a reservation, by personally visiting the hotel, for Friday 20th April. Imagine our disappointment upon arrival to find the booking... More

Having read the recent comments posted on the Beadnell Towers page; I feel I need to comment We were staying in Beadnell village over the Easter weekend. We went to Beadnell Towers to watch the Newcastle match and also had a great day. We noticed the reserved signs on tables but we were told the tables were reserved for after... More

We also concur with last review. We had friends up for Easter weekend and went to The Towers to watch the match on Friday the 6th. We had a very enjoyable time until the televised match finished and we were actually asked to leave our table despite the fact that we had intended to eat there that evening. Their loss... More

Stopping in pub and watched a football game. Nice banter then match finished and landlady launched into locals to clear bar. They had been drinking there for two hours and simply wanted to finish their drinks. Obviously wanted to prepare for evening, but didn't want football lads to finish their drinks. They asked if could finish drinks but told to... More

This review is a prime example of gross manipulation and misuse of Trip advisor feedback. The reviewer was a complete stranger to the Beadnell Towers, he has not visited the business as a paying guest or indeed eaten from our menu yet he has chosen to comment and make an assessment of both areas falsely rating our facilities. The reviewer... More
