We stayed for 2 nights and we really enjoyed our stay. The room, food, service and welcome were all excellent. As we arrived the delicious smells of dinner cooking enticed us to book in for a meal on our first night and we were not disappointed. We had a lovely meal and there was a good selection of wines to... More

Hi - do hope that you have safely returned to Australia. Thank you for your feedback about your one night stay here at The Old Vicarage. We are sorry that you appeared to have problems with the toilet cistern. This system is called a 'Saniflow' which does 'grumble' briefly after flushing. After your stay (and your comment here on Tripadvisor)... More

Lovely breakfasts, I would have liked to have tried the afternoon tea but was out and about so much that I didn't have the chance. The place was spotless and very comfortable, good parking despite... We had a 2 night stay, and we loved it especially the delicious porridge, and all the nice touches, white table cloths and napkins and a nice comfy bed. Ruth and Maurice were so kind and nothing was too much trouble we would definately go back there. More
