Our second visit to the Bamburgh View, and now that we have discovered it, wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the island. We booked all three rooms - absolutely perfect for our family group. What a pleasure to emerge from our lovely comfy beds in the spotlessly clean rooms and to be treated to a full breakfast (great vegetarian... More

Carole and Jamie Morrow are a very welcoming couple and they run a spotless B & B. It has been updated and has comfy beds, good linen and towels plus well lit bathrooms with toiletries. The tea and coffee facilities were welcome and the breakfast they provide is generous and tasty. Will we return? If we can, yes indeed! More

Our first trip to holy island since we were both kids was made even more perfect by staying with Carole and Jamie. We stayed only one night and a friendly welcome made us feel right at home. The room was lovely and spacious. Carole recommended places to eat and gave us advise on how best to see the island. The... More

Stayed for one night only as we only live 60 miles from Holy Island but we have never spent the night on the island. We made to feel at home by Carole. Rooms are perfectly clean with a good supply of tea/coffees and very good biscuits. fresh milk available from the kitchen which was a bonus. We has the room... More

This was our second Easter stay with Carole and Jamie. We had the front room, which is very large with a sofa bed. The double bed was very comfortable and there was plenty of storage in the room. The shower room was very nice. The whole place was spotless, as before. The experience was enhanced by the friendliness and welcoming... More

What a warm welcome we received when we arrived (with bikes ) at Bamburgh View. Jamie gave us a lovely tour of our rooms, and advice on booking our evening meal. We were so comfortable in our gorgeous room, we didn't want to go out. There was a wide choice of drinks available and a lovely sofa as well as... More

We have just arrived back from a lovely weekend at Holy Island and thoroughly enjoyed staying at Bamburgh View. Carole and Jamie were extremely friendly, welcoming and helpful throughout our stay and we felt very at home in their B and B. Our breakfast was lovely and their vegetarian options were also brilliant. Our room was very well put together... More

Good room with nice wood furniture and view on to the back garden and Bamburgh Castle in the distance. However the room with a view is quite small though adequate with coffee and tea facilities. Bed is confortable. The shower room is very nice and modern. The breakfast was delicious and copious. All freshly cooked. Both hosts were very friendly.... More
