We stayed here for one night at the end of march. We paid extra for the sea view room and it was definately worth it. We had a cracking view of the sea and the castle. The Priory was just next door. My boyfriend really enjoyed his breakfast of kippers. We had our evening meal in the restaurant and again... More

The previous negative reviews of bad service and unfriendly staff have either been exagerated or resolved by a change in staff. Everyone was very friendly & helpful. The food was good, large portions, comfortable spacious bedroom, fabulous views. Well worth the climb to the 3rd floor as there is no lift. Also good is that there is on site parking.... More

A magical setting for this hotel...good food .....a little pricey.....clean rooms....mean towels...I love the Holy Isle of Lindisfarne and and its people ,whose friendly welcome to young and old is evident to see the hotels, cafes shops ,churches ,Castle and Priory- (with the exception of the Manor House)..... Last year at the height of our summer I bought a drink... More

The hotel is has a great setting, adjacent to the Lindisfarne Priory and with views of the harbour and castle. The service was friendly, the food was great and the rooms were comfortable and clean. Highly recommended, great value for money too. More

Great views overlooking the castle and abbey. We didnt stay here but would consider doing so in the future. The staff were very friendly and the food was well prepared, plentiful and good value for money. More

I had a good meal in the recently re-furbished bar. Food was pretty good and the staff were quite helpful. I would like to come back soon for another meal sometime soon. More

This is a lovely hotel in a perfect setting. Very clean, pleasant rooms and delicious food. We were a family group of 10 celebrating a 60th birthday but sadly felt we weren't very welcome. One staff member was not happy when asked to store the surprise birthday cake in a cool place. All of our meals had to be taken... More

I've stayed on Holy Island many times, but never in the hotel, and I wasn't disappointed. I had the single room at the front of the hotel with a stunning view of the castle. There was no ensuite, but that is made clear from the website (and reflected in the price, £55 per night b&b) and the room does have... More

We stayed for three nights from the 6th March in a room at the top of the hotel overlooking the castle, the room was spotlessly clean, warm & comfortable. The food is superb & we had the best fish & chips on the island at the Manor, the staff are very friendly & a big thank you to them all... More
