Stayed for a few days whilst working in the area. Vera and Tim are great hosts, nothing is too much trouble. Rooms very clean and tidy. Breakfast superb, great choice. Ideally located on the edge of Morpeth town centre, lots of parking space, close to the A1. More

We enjoyed our stay and were comfortable. The property is well placed to walk into the centre of Morpeth, but has good off street car parking - a rare combination in Morpeth. Breakfasts were superb and the proprietors very helpful and caring. We certainly intend to go back. More

We booked a double room and a twin at Cottinburn House as we were attending our niece's wedding at Longhirst Hall on Saturday, travelling from Stockport to Northumberland. There were my husband and myself and our two daughers aged 21 and 19. We arrived in Morpeth slightly earlier than anticipated and decided to see if we would be able to... More

Myself and two friends stayed at Cottingburn House on Friday night, after visiting Morpeth for a friend's funeral. I am extremely fussy about where I stay when away from home and am not often 100% satisfied, but I have to say there was not one thing I could complain about. The rooms were spotlessly clean and completely separate from the... More

Cottingburn House was not as we expected. I cannot fault the kindness of the owners and the special effort they went to to make us feel welcome yet there was a few times where they where quite short and rude to us. Their coeliac breakfasts are immense and could not be faulted it was a great treat to to eat... More

Stayed for three months on and off while working locally and looking for a place to live. Tim and Vera who run Cottingburn were exceptional hosts, making you feel welcome and at ease in their company, nothing was too much bother for them. What makes a B&B something more special than a bed for the night is the people that run... More

Stayed in Cottingburn House B&B in August for a short break in Northumberland and enjoyed both my holidays and the accommodation very much. The room was clean, the bed was very comfortable and the breakfast was just excellent. The B&B has a secure off street parking which is a bonus and is within comfortable walking distance from the town centre.... More

Stayed for 2 nights while working locally. Were greeted personally upon pulling into their spacious car park which was a nice touch. We were given good information about our surroundings and places to eat etc. Shown to our room which was clean and fresh with very comfortable beds. Were served with what i can only say was an excellent, well... More
