We stayed here for 1 night in August on a mini tour of Northumberland. Really nice place, clean & tidy and very welcoming. Feels more like your a guest in their house than a conventional B&B. Room was very comfortable and the breakfast was really good. We also used the owner's boat 'Serenity' to have a sail around the Farne... More

Stayed here together with a group of scuba divers to dive on the Farne Islands at the beginning of August 2012. I was well impressed with the accommodation which was clean and fresh, it looked as if it had been recently decorated throughout, beds were comfortable and rooms nicely furnished. Breakfast was first class, a full English nicely done with... More

we stayed here in june 2011. what a lovely spot - friendly helpful hosts. Breakfast was excellent with fresh fruit and served in the dining room adjacent to the kitchen - a friendly, homely situation. Other guests were chatty and relaxed as well -indicative of the general warm and relaxed tone. Northumberland is a wonderful area to visit. So many... More

My boyfriend and I stayed at The Olde School House in November, and what a lovely find it was. We had a spacious room, airy and bright. Lovely en-suite, both rooms were immaculate. It's a very relaxed place, Joan and Andrew are such friendly people, and provide the most amazing breakfasts! Fills you up for the whole day. In a... More

Within comfortable walking distance of Seahouses which is the place to take trips to the Farme islands. Just down the road from Holy Island, Dunstanburgh Castle and Bamburgh Castle. All are "must sees"! The Olde School House had great accomodation and a really good breakfast. Craster is just down the road with its famous smoked kippers - to buy or... More

We (2 adults, 12 year old child and small dog) stayed at the Olde School House for three nights whilst exploring the Northumberland coast. It is in a great location with many of the best parts of the coast withing 40 mins drive. Joan and Andrew are the most easy going B&B owners I have come across. The atmosphere of... More

Stayed for 4 nights with my niece. Very comfortable room kept immaculately clean. Joan and Andrew our hosts couldn't have been nicer, breakfast was a real treat with nothing too much trouble. Went on a couple of boat trips with Andrew (Serenity) which I would recommend very highly, his enthusiasm along with his crew member Keith was a real pleasure.... More
