We enjoyed everything about our visit. Carol and Nigel were lovely hosts. Our bedroom and bath were small but adequate in size, and luxuriously appointed, in a wonderful old house with an interesting history. The grounds were lovely. We spent one night at Castle of Comfort having picked it out at random and were very favourably impressed. Everywhere was tastefully decorated in mute colours. We have visited the Castle 2 times now, and it is a hit every time. The room was exceptionally clean and spacious, combining the cosy English country house feel, with a contemporary decor. I've stayed at the castle of comfort through work quite a few times now, I uaully have room 7 which has been newly refurbished and is nice and spacious! Fab little find, bed was a little small but very relaxed and clean, good location, AMAZING food and beautiful restaurant! In fact the food was worth the 4 hour trip alone!
