We've just stayed the weekend at Streamcombe farm to celebrate my husbands birthday. We arrived Friday afternoon and spent a couple of hours with Ian in the cookery school learning how to make focaccia, lemon tart and how to chop like a pro! We then went to our room, the lovely hayloft and had a relaxing bath before going down... More

We spent 2 nights at Streamcombe and loved every moment of our stay. We stayed in the Stable Room which was an absolute treat. The room is a very generous size, has its own entrance, has a luxurious bathroom and very comfortable huge bed. The whole B&B is very beautifully furnished and all the fittings are of a very high... I booked a surprise weekend for my husband at Streamcombe and from the moment we arrived, I knew we were in for a fantastic weekend - we were greeted with fresh coffee and homemade biscuits (still warm!). We spent the Sat partaking in the bread making course - Ian's tuition, knowledge and guidance throughout were fabulous, the class was hand-on... More

It's difficult for us to write a review, as we almost don't want to tell everyone about just how good Streamcombe Farm is. It's small enough that it will always remain private, and being set in a valley half a mile up a private track, you're even more secluded than most of the rest of Exmoor itself. The accommodation is... More

Thank so much, all three of us enjoyed a fabulous day making bread at the cookery school at Streamcombe - with 3 of us cooking, we had so many goodies to bring home, we've had to put some of them in the freezer and give some away to friends who were most impressed. Hope we can come back again very... More

Just read my review from this time last year. We came back for 2 nights and it was just as good. Luxurious, welcoming, peaceful and great food. The evening meals are so good that we ate in both nights. We had the most amazing delicate brill for our main course the second night - just delicious. Had warm chocolate brownie... More

My husband and I first stayed here on our honeymoon and have been wanting to visit again ever since! We hired all 3 rooms for a long weekend with friends of ours. As expected it was incredible, nothing is too much trouble for Karen & Ian and when we arrived we had tea and some lovely homemade lemon drizzle cake.... More

Chanced upon this place to stay while in Dulverton for the weekend. We were met with very friendly service and impeccable furnishings in our room. We ate dinner there and brought our own wine which makes it incredibly good value for money. The food is superb, far beyond any B&B I've ever been to and it is all properly sourced.... More

Faultless B&B in a haven of tranquility. Extremely comfortable, clean rooms, excellent breakfast in the beautiful conservatory. In addition an amazing 1-day cookery course where we prepared our own meals under the expert friendly tuition of Ian. I recommend booking as a group! Both Ian and Karen very tolerant of the boisterous crowd we were - we would love to... More

...well and a night too staying at this wonderful rural retreat on Exmoor. 6 of us arrived to find a gaggle of guinea fowl on guard. We had booked a day's cookery course run by Ian and were delighted to find that this took place in a beautifully restored old barn. From learning knife skills, to boning partridge to baking... More
