Just came here for a pint and wish we could have stayed for longer. It was so cosy, dog-friendly (loads of nice dogs to play with) and very busy so I'm sure the food must be great. Fabulous small pub with superb chefs and staff. Tried the oxtail, pheasant, guinea fowl and osso bucco as well as the ales and ciders. All amazing. Clean comfortable and dog friendly but organised so that the canine guests don't impinge on the few who are not canine-compatible. More

stayed here for a valentines weekend break, a lovely country hotel with good friendly staff and a superb host in john the owner making us feel most welcome. The food was also fantastic with a good range of wines and real ales to suit anyones pallette.All in all a most enjoyable stay More
