Perfect location for local walks and within easy reach of restaurants, pubs etc.Emma made us feel very welcome and we felt so comfortable at Hurlestone we would have liked to stay longer. Excellent room with lovely views and perfect breakfast to set us up for the day ahead. Would definitely stay here again if visiting the area.

I took my mom for a weekend in Porlock and thoroughly enjoyed Hurlstone B&B. location is great, about a 3 minute walk into the village, on a quiet lane, with ample guest parking and gorgeous sea views. Emma does a great job welcoming guests and breakfasts were terrific and cooked to order. Rooms are comfortable, super clean and spacious. The... More

We stayed for 2 nights and found this to be the ideal base for exploring Porlock and the surrounding area. Emma made us feel very welcome and the room was spacious, spotlessly clean and very comfortable. We had a sea view, looking out towards the salt marsh where there is lots of interesting bird life. Breakfast was great and the... More

We had a lovely stay in Hurlestone. Emma gave us a warm welcome and when she saw that we had large bags, she did not hesitate and suggested that we took the big room despite the fact that we book a normal room. No surcharge nonsense; it was free and she was happy for us to use it. She gave... More

We had a perfect stay at this very welcoming B&B. Good, light, clean comfortable room with en-suite, tea & coffee making facilities including a small fridge and lovely views. The breakfast was delicious with lots of choice; toast, cereals and fruit as well as full cooked (including vegetarian). The location is perfect too, a short walk to the main street... More

We stayed one night at Hurlestone with our dog Ollie. The room was very clean and comfortable. We had a twin bedded room with a beautiful view of the sea. There was an ensuite with shower. The en suite was a little on the small side, but quite adequate. The room was very clean. I was a little disapointed with... More

Just stayed the one night on Friday 13th but a very enjoyable experience. The room we had, a double with great views, was large and had everything we needed from a B&B, including a very comfy bed. The breakfasts were well cooked with good quality of bacon sauasage etc....sets one up nicely for the day ahead. Our hosts had a... More
