Stayed here in April 2012. The accommodation is rather basic but for a few nights as a base, it was good enough. As mentioned in some previous comments, the downstairs rooms at the back do not have net curtains, which would have been good but we coped without having them! There is a small tv in the room, a basic... More

I have used this Travelodge for several years when making business trips to Littlehampton. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful - but the hotel has not appear to have been decorated since I first used it some 8 to 10 years ago. Being in a downstairs room right next to the garage, the noise during the... More

After reading the other reviews of this hotel (once I had already made the booking) I was a bit worried that I had made a bad choice. However, I have to say that we were very pleased with our stay at this Travelodge. We wanted a budget hotel for a couple of nights in the Easter holidays and wanted to... More

What do you expect for £27 a night? Well a decent bed? I wouldn't describe it as decent as the mattress was very poor and very soft... but we slept well but my husband's back is suffering today. The ability to shower? The shower was awful. We were in room 31. I did complain but they could do nothing about... More

the room was clean and typically a travelodge, but the only thing i could complain about was that the bed squeaked every time you moved, and it kept moving away from the wall so had to keep moving it back, (it had a mind of its own, literally.) We had a very warm welcome, and staff were very helpful, only... More

The hotel is quite an old building in need of a re-vamp, and not in a particularly picturesque position, being on a main roundabout. The rooms were fairly clean and tidy - a carbon copy of many an 'older' Travelodge found in the U.K. It's adequate for an overnight stay, without the bells and whistles. The nearest pub is at... Admittedly male receptionist friendly and helpful and very sympathetic when I asked where the restaurant was - offered me a leaflet from Dominos Pizza which seemed to be the only option apart from Burger King next door! But oh dear, tried the shower, unable to get water out of the shower head only, sounded too as if a train was... More

Just because it's cheap it doesn't need to be dirty. Hairs in the bath, mould on the windows, dirty curtains. On the plus side bed was comfortable.Booked fro 2 nights stayed for 1. Communal area had a very strange smell. That sums up my expereince of travelodge Littlehampton. More

Desperately in need of updating. A very tired and not very clean bathroom with a shower that was either hot or cold (never just right). Pillows almost flat and a duvet that doesn't cover the whole bed. What's to like? Very close to where we needed to be and that's about it. More

I've just returned from a night's stay in this travelodge and unfortunately I wasn't impressed. The rooms were extremely basic and in serious need of refurbishment. We could see that the skirting-boards had just been painted because there were splatters of white paint over the carpet and wall where it had been spilt and not cleaned up. There was also... More
