Had a lovely stay here on a very cold night in Feb. The inn has a lovely warmth thankfully, due to the heating in the room and the friendly staff. The room was prettty, clean and comfortable with everything required. One slight downside was that the toilet was noisy but didnt stop us having a good nights sleep. The breakfast was... More

A great location and the pub has a wonderful atmoshere inside and out ( large garden to the rear). I have to say it is one of the best places I have ever eaten at and... More

There is some serious talent in the kitchen and the sourcing of the ingredients is impeccable -- local suppliers are all written up on a blackboard in great detail. I can recommend the tangy and spicy Bloody Mary and the gents were... More

I stayed at this pub a couple of years ago with my son and promised my wife that I would take her there. It was just as I remembered it and lived up to my hype. We stayed in the cottage which is quaint in its own right, having many of the fantastic features and attention to detail as the... More

This is just one of those places whose genuine charm delights you the moment you step in the door. A warm welcome, a pint of well kept bitter, a beautiful and comfortable bedroom, and utterly delicious food and wine to complete the heavenly experience. The owners have put in an unbelievable amount of work to create a magical place and... More

We had been meaning to try this pub for quite a while, but the lack of parking in the village had made it impossible, however on Sunday we managed to find a space some hundred yards up the road. Having been to many pubs in the West Sussex area over the past three years or so, we hadn't expected to... More

We stayed in the cute little cottage attached to the pub, and so just 10 steps away from a fab eating and drinking den. The cottage and pub are stylish in a contemporary country way with a rustic, well worn feel, and comfort is a main priority. The sense of humour on various items, and among the staff made us... More
