The previous reviewers pretty much covered it, I just want to add my name to their fan club. The staff is amazing, really. I wish every where I stayed, they cared as much about their visitors. That said I would like to add some points of caution to make sure people know the whole picture so it doesn't turn out... More

Top 10 things I loved at Los Naranjos: 1- The staff - genuine, friendly and super accomodating. 2- The outdoor shower - enough said. 3- The food - fresh fruit, delicious local dishes prepared fresh. 4- The waterfall - a few steps away. Pure zen. 5- The hanging mosquito net bed - becomes a cozy nest once you get used... More

Los Naranjos. Magic. Restful. Jungle. Paradise. Bliss Modern conveniences. Hot running water. Glorious hot showers. Toilets. Handmade, local soap. Water for drinking is filtered multiple times. A pitcher is set in each palapa with a fresh drinking cup or glass. The bathroom palapas also have a pitcher of filtered water for teeth brushing - drinking from the tap is not... More

Do yourself a favour and step out of modernity and into true peace and ease in nature. I was delighted to rock to sleep each night in my hanging bed with the sounds of the jungle around me. I ate wonderfully fresh and casual fare that was just the thing my body needed for my retreat. The staff were so... More

I recently had the great fortune of staying 8 nights at this amazing jungle retreat and would highly recommend it. The comfortable accommodations, the staff, the food and the magical and amazing jungle backdrop made for a relaxing and rejuvenating experience that I will not soon forget. I went as part of an organized retreat but would readily go back... More

I attended a yoga retreat through Maya Whole Health Studio based out of Renton, WA (www.mayawholehealth.com). The retreat was a five night stay where we were lead into the lush jungle and returned fully changed. I cannot express enough how much Los Naranjos is a magical, unique and amazing place. Every moment we found ourselves in awe of what the... More

Our stay at Los Naranjos was amazing. Showers with no roofs, and sleeping in a hamock. Good restaurants are close by. The hosts were amazing and lined up the fishing trip of a life time for us. We hope to make it back there some day soon. I would suggest though a flashlight and good bug spray for no seeums... More

I had no idea what to expect before we arrived at Los Naranjos. I knew only what we had seen from the few pictures on their website - that it was a collection of open-air "palapas" (palm-thatch-roofed huts) surrounded by beautiful jungle scenery and gardens, about a fifteen minute hike uphill from the beach of Yelapa. We wound up spending... More
