We recently stayed here. House was nice, warm beds, lots of books and DVDs. Great big breakfast!
Would have been nice to have used the open fire. Thanks for the free quince paste!

The location was convenient to the Hartz Mountains and many other attractions in South East Tasmania. The Hosts were friendly and welcoming. The beds were comfortable and Breakfast was superb. But the most outstanding feature was the platypuses we saw in the stream at the bottom of the garden.

Glad you enjoyed your stay & got to see our platypuses! There's a light dusting of snow on top of Hartz Mtn today - very pretty in the sunshine. Thanks for writing our review, hope to see you back one day.

My husband and I spent 3 nights at Cambridge House recently with an additional guest on the first night. What can I say that hasn't already been said? It was an excellent base for our travels in and around the Huon Valley, the accommodation and hosts were top class, the breakfasts were to die for, and the platypus came out...

On our travels around Tasmania, we spent 3 nights at Cambridge House B&B in Geeveston. I can highly recommend this B&B to anyone. Our hosts, Karen & Glen, were extremely helpful and gave us good travel information. The breakfast was to die for and I loved the local jams and stewed fruits. Also came away with a jar of blackberry...

Stayed two nights at this fabulous place with old world charm in a beautiful and dramatic part of Tasmania (then again that covers most parts of Tasmania). Karen and Glen are friendly, helpful, and overall couldn't be nicer. Easy access to Tahune airwalk (with some good side walks) and to Hartz National Park (with a good walk to Hartz peak...

A delightful experience with gracious hosts in their most beautiful 1870's home. Surroundings were lovely, and yes, we did see and photograph the platypus at the bottom of the garden!
Breakfast was sensational with luscious berries and other fruits, cereals, toasts and eggs with tomato and local mushrooms. We left with a jar of blackberry jam to continue to enjoy...

I'm glad the scratches & thorns I get from the blackberries are all worthwhile, it's nice to know they are appreciated on the breakfast tables! Thanks for visiting & the review.
