Step into another world - an old fashioned country hotel with a dining room. Our hosts were happy to store some contents of esky in their fridge though we were reminded that check in was 1500 but we could put our bags in the room! We were the only guests on the night so we had the shared dining/living area and bathrooms to ourselves. The room had it's own basin, something I hadn't seen in aus before but useful for brushing teeth etc. The decor made it feel a bit like staying at my grandparents and the proprietors were very friendly and acommodating. “Good hotel, rural pub atmosphere”

Good hotel. Actually more like a rural pub with rooms.Rooms are very good. Breakfast average. Service good. Dinner bit expensive. Very beautiful area. I do recommend the hotel.

Small, cute hotel in the far south west reaches of Tasmania. This is one of the last places to stay on the road to Lake Peddar and Strathgordon.
