I had been through this way 18 months ago and was not able to stay over night. I loved this village on first sight. My partner had never been to Tasmania before so this was a must. We booked in here and she was delighted as soon as we sighted the room. Walk to everything, breakfast, Pub, beaches, chair lift.

Reasonably priced, spacious family accomodation in a great location. The owners are a lovely family who are keen to please guests.

We enjoyed our stay in the Bay View Guest House despite an incredible storm overnight. Our hosts were very welcoming and helpful. The room was large with a modern shower room and cooking facilities if you wished to use them. It was spotlessly clean - all you could wish for. We also had a nice view over the sea.

The guesthouse is nicely positioned below The Nut with views across the bay to the west. Our room was nicely presented with a lovely bathroom. We were very happy with our room for the price (compared to what we had been paying in the rest of Tasmania). The owners were very friendly.
