This is by far the most disgusting hotel I've ever been to. The first room we checked into was filthy at 8:00 pm. CHECK OUT IS AT NOON. It looked like the previous guests were still checked in. After walking back down to the front desk to ask for a new room, the clerk offered to have room service clean...

Our party of three adults were planning another visit to Cedar Point and had no hesitation in planning another stay at Hotel Breakers. Now we kind of wish we hadn't. We had hotel problems, park problems, etc.
We booked a queen suite in the "new" part of the hotel. Bell services was fine. Unlike the last time, this time one...

From reading other reviews I feel like some people are both a bit too generous and a bit too harsh on this hotel. Average is, in my humble opinion, the best rating for Hotel Breakers. Yes, its very outdated. Indeed, it doesn't feature 'basic ammenities such as a minifridge or microwave of state-of-the-art television.' The staff seems to lack proper...

A group of friends and I decided to stay at the hotel out of convenience......well, that's about it! This hotel is outdated and in need of some serious TLC. It smells of chlorine and mold and there is NOTHING between those walls. We had the pleasure of staying during school trip week I guess, because all we saw were teenagers...

While it is true that the Hotel is very old and certain features such as thin walls maybe can not be helped; I do think that the way that the hotel does present itself to the consumer matters. This often begins with something that hotels should be very much known for; customer service. My experience with the Breakers Hotel's Front...

This hotel is terrible. I booked a 3-night stay with one King size bed for my wife and I along with 2 days of Cedar Point tickets (room 2310). The hotel itself is simply awful. It smells of dank water damage like a $1 movie theater. The rooms have zero amenities such as refrigerator and microwave. Our bed was even...

My boyfriend and I stayed three nights at Cedar Point in this fine Grand Dame of a hotel. NO it is not by any means run down, worn out, dirty or dated. YES it is Victorian in style which to those accustomed to the sleek contemporary interiors of say a Manhattan hotel it would appear "old". Our room service was...

Hotel Breakers was clean and adequate. Great location near the beach and amusement park. You get what you pay for and you can say you stayed in a historical hotel. The place has been around I think for almost 100 yrs.

Hotel Breakers is the only way to do Cedar Point if you plan on staying over. It's so close to the gates, allows for a siesta if needed.
I'll agree with other folks, get a lake front room, in the east bldg. we were in 1556 and it was great. Pool access, beach access, very easy.
The TV was old...
