We fell in love with the A frame cabin when we stepped in it! The room is cozy and clean. Special thank you for Heidi! She is so hospitable and gave us great suggestions on our crater lake short visit. This one-night stay in Aspen Inn made the last day of our Oregon trip so memorable! We will definitely choose... We selected the Aspen Inn for our one night stay because of its proximity to Crater Lake and the uniqueness of the motel itself. We had the pleasure of staying in one of the four A Frame cabins; Heidi called it the “honeymoon” suite, cute! The room was very neat and clean and the bed was comfy too. Heidi was... More

To be honest, I was hesitant when my husband showed me photos of an A-frame cabin he had booked for us and I was even a bit hesitant when we pulled in. (I am not a camper.) But that all went away as soon as we met Heidi. I felt like we were staying in someone's personal cabin in their... More

We stayed at Aspen for one night in early Oct 2012. It was the perfect base for a quick trip to Crater Lake. The motel itself is rather basic but very clean, spacious and great value for money. My only slight criticism would be that the WiFi speed is pretty slow, but in the end it’s not the kind of... More

I was planning on tent camping for two nights in Crater Lake NP until I saw the forecast of 21 degrees for the low both nights. After reading reviews on Tripadvisor,I called and talked to Heidi.I asked for a single both nights, and was told she had a single the first night, but only a double the second night for $10 more.I asked... During the end of September my family and I spent two nights at the Aspen Inn. We absolutely loved the Inn and found the owner, Heidi, to be very friendly and helpful. We lodged in the Wagon House which was very comfortable and had a well stocked kitchen. It is separate from the regular motel rooms and has its own... More

This hotel was great. we stayed at the Wagon House and had a blast! We played pool , had a camp fire and relaxed. Heidi was so friendly and loved her dog! we really enjoyed our stay. It was not your typical run of the mill motel. We will have fond memories of our stay. r

Heidi, the owner of The Aspen Inn, clearly takes pride in her property. The rooms are simple, but clean. If you are staying at the Aspen Inn, chances are that you will be spending most of your time hiking at Crater Lake, so it makes little difference to me that the TV's only get one channel. Pulling into the lot... More

The beauty and nature's silence surrounding this motel was wonderful. This is not a high dollar motel with all the amenities in the room, but the down to earth, friendly owner, Heidi, has everything you might need in the office........all you have to do is ask. She genuinely wants to please and makes it a point to get to know... More

When we go to National Parks, we try to stay in the Parks. This time it was not possible, so we opted for a place with good reviews near the park. Even though all the reviews were good, we still did not expect such a warm welcome or such a well maintained clean bright room with a comfortable bed. And....It... More
