Just had a late May 2-day stay at Salishan, checked in on a Sunday and left on Tuesday. No complaints whatsoever, staff were receptive and friendly, room was great, she loved the spa and we both enjoyed the golf (despite the rain). The course drains well and the greens were perfect. The attic lounge was great, tasty and well-priced food... More

We enjoyed an April getaway to the Central Oregon Coast and chose the Salishan for its location and rating of 4 stars. The location was great in terms of heading south on the coast for day trips and also a little North. The rooms felt like a classy cabin from the 1960s and I mean that in a good way.... More

This is the quintessential Oregon experience. Peaceful, quietly inviting, child and pet friendly and so much to see and do in this location. Golf, spa, tennis and hiking. The minature golf was our children's favorite but the pool and playing chess in the gorgeous library was the best. The art and wood panels are so beautiful, a reminder of Salishan's... More

Stayed the weekend on our first year weeding anniversary. The Alder building third floor room (336) was clean and very nice. Room included a small couch and chair sitting area, desk and Fireplace. View of the bay thru the trees and the building is close to hwy, but noise wasn't a issue could hear the waves at night didn't notice... More

I've stayed here about 6 or 8 times, the beds are fabulous, the grounds are green, the lobby is great. BUT, and its a big BUT, you PAY for it. Example: Steakhouse inside main building, appetizers START at about $20, Steak dinner $40. Wine list is extensive. View is average. So, too rich for minimum wage people? You bet. Try... More

The rooms were beautifully furnished, relaxing and quiet. The pool was warm and clean so our kids had a blast as did we. We were disappointed to find the casual restaurant closed for dinner but did find the staff in the other restaurant on site to be patient and accomodating for our group with two small boys. There isn't much... More

A recent 3 day trip to Salishan resulted once again in seeing the shortcomings of this once first class resort. Although a lovely location, a few things that need serious attention from management include: a. The wi-fi in each room is absolutely worthless. I had to have a tech come up and his solution was to give me a ethernet... More

Hi KW, We most certainly do read these reviews and have all intentions of addressing most of what we read on here. In terms of technology updates for the televisions over the summer we will be installing 42" HD Flat Screens in our Deluxe (like the room you stayed in) and Premier rooms. This should definitely help with the movie... More

Beautiful hotel, but don't be fooled! The hotel is on the opposite side of the Hwy as the ocean. Gorgeous golf course view from some rooms...our was trees. We knew going in there was no ocean view, but it can be mistaken as an oceanfront hotel by some. Would easily stay again! Comfy beds, lots of pillows, fireplace, nice sized... More

I spent one night here in March. Despite being spring vacation the resort was quiet. I had upgrade the room and was very happy with it. The room size was spacious, there was a nice fireplace, the bed was very comfortable, the furnishings nice, and the view of the estuary lovely. The room itself had a nice lodge feel in... More

We had purchased a groupon for two nights in a deluxe suite. Upon arrival, the front desk guy was very friendly and helpful, the room was clean, a little dated, but I was there for some R&R and kid-free time with my husband, who cares if the sinks are from the 70's!! We had a view over the driving range.... More
