The room was beautiful, the value was fantastic, and I'd ordinarily say the location/view was the obvious highlight except that the staff simply outdid themselves. I've stayed at a lot of hotels and never seen anywhere near the level or service Tara & Vee (and Garth) provided behind the desk. I'd stay here again in a heartbeat. More

View from the balcony awesome. Wish there was a fridge, but oh well. Traveling down to GP to visit my grandparents after just visting Seattle and the bed was sketchy. Tossed and turned most of the night. The comforter felt like a x-ray blanket (super heavy! I thought those are supposed to have down feathers in them?) Other than that... More

My lady and I stayed 3 nights, May 4-6, and loved this Inn. We chose a 3rd floor room with king bed and Fireplace. The room was very clean, the bed and duvet and pillows superb. The patio over the Rogue River was a dream and peaceful with the sounds of the river below, ducks and asst birds. Then the... More

My husband and I stayed here for 3 nights while house hunting in Oregon. We stayed in a standard room, which was quite average - one issue with it, though, was a strong smell, likely from cleaning products. We had to air out the room to get it down to a tolerable level. We did enjoy the wine and the... More

Myself and 2 other women travel to the Riverside Inn once a year for a Conference at the Josephine Co. fairgrounds. 15 years now, and it just keeps getting better. We find the hotel to be perfect. Close to our conference. River view rooms to die for! Excellent restaurant on site. Hellsgate river boat tours right there, also has coffee... More

The room was clean, The decor kind of rustic look but the beds were newer and very comfortable. What drew us to the Riverside Inn was the location. They are in a great location with a great view of the Rogue River, The tranquilty of the rushing river is very much worth the stay. We found a place with very... More

We looked on line and reviewed the property ... it was NOTHING like the photos.! I will never stay here again nor recommend this to any other people we travel with. Our rooms were VERY DATED ! smelled (like old cigarette smoke), Bed coverings were OLD, and the furniture looked like it came right from salvation army... This is not... More

Everything about his hotel was horrible. I’ve seen run down motel’s with better amenities. My room smelled like stale cigarette smoke. The bed was hard, uncomfortable, with pillows that were flat and stiff. I felt the need to keep something on my feet at all times because of how gross the carpet looked. I asked to be moved off the... More

Thank you for your comments, we regret hearing you didn’t enjoy your stay at Riverside Inn. The majority of our guests give us exceptional feedback regarding our beds which are Serta mattresses we purchased in 2011. I know a comfortable bed to one person might be seen as too hard or too soft by the next, but we generally hear... More

Hotel has moderate rooms, each with a nice balcony directly overlooking the Rogue River. No river access from hotel property, but there is a trail to the river off adjacent street. Near park, downtown antiquing and beautiful river trail parkway. Traprock restaurant across steet with outdoor river view dining, nice atmosphere and decent food. More

We stayed there on the night of April 4th, and it was the last night of our week long road trip. During our stay the only staff member that was working, we never caught her name. She was the sweetest most beautiful person we encountered on our trip. We fell in love with Oregon, everyone was so nice. We want... More
