Loved our stay at this hotel, which we arranged through a GREAT Groupon deal. We had a beautiful room overlooking the river, a lovely bottle of wine waiting for us in our room, free glasses of wine in the bar, and a passport with free wine tasting to five wineries. The staff was so helpful, printing out information about a...

The Columbia Gorge Hotel has been lovingly restored and modernized. All the decor is authentic turnof the century decor or very good copies. Thr rooms have ornate mirror frames and art nouveau pictures on ever wall. Very nicely donee. The rooms were comfortable and the staff was courteous and helful?

This is a wonderful old hotel. We had a lovely room with a fireplace and a view of the river. We chose to dine at the restaurant two nights and had wonderful meals. The grounds are lovely, and we just enjoyed relaxing and taking scenic drives. The Fruit Loop was a fun drive. We definitely plan to return.

This is a lovely, classic old hotel that has added modern amenities while still preserving its original character. The manager was incredibly kind and gracious when we told her that we had come down from Seattle for our anniversary, giving us a great corner room and providing complimentary champagne. The location is good, right on the river. Rooms in the...

We spent two nights here in one of their "View" rooms. Def recommend getting a view because the interstate is on the other side. Very quiet overlooking the river. Our room had a nice fireplace that came on at the flick of a time switch. Great ambiance! Until it had been on about 30 min. Good thing we were awake....

We've stayed at this lovely old hotel 5-6 times in the last 3-4 years. It is situated on a cliff overlooking the Columbia River, right next to a waterfall, with gardens all around. The hotel is maintained to preserve it's historic legacy, down to it's old-fashioned elevator. The bedrooms and baths are well-appointed with comfortable beds and 'true to period'...

I really loved my stay here. The bed was super comfortable, the room was somewhat small but not problematically so. The bathroom was very clean and seemingly recently remodeled - the only drawback being the cold floor since it was tile but they did have a small rug to help protect your feet but you might think about packing slippers....

This is a historic hotel, located on the south bank of the Columbia River in Hood River, OR. We stayed for one very rainy night - which meant we couldn't do much more than walk through the extensive grounds and see the waterfall. Despite the weather, the grounds were nicely kept, with lots of daffodils blooming.
It's an old building,...
