I have never been disappointed in the many times I've been here. The sheets are ironed, the beds are comfy, the place could not be cleaner. The rooms are all different depending upon what you need and what's available at the moment. Some have kitchens, some do not. I can walk easily within a couple of minutes to the grocery... More

The owner, Brian is so sweet (we did not get the chance to meet his wife), the room was very clean, and the bed was comfortable. They have a great collection of VHS movies and board games that you can use during your stay. They have beach towels and treats for your dogs and beach toys for your kids to... More

A stay at the spa resorts has it's place, but the San Dune Inn offers something the new resorts can't. For one, it is a great value for a beach trip. The hotel is nothing fancy, but it is also not contrived or artificial. It's an old school Oregon coast motel but unlike some that have decayed, the San Dune... More

OK, so we planned a last minute trip to the Oregon coast and the San Dune was the only place in Manzanita that had a room available for the entire time we wanted to stay. Being lazy I didn't want to book seperate places and settled for this little motel. That being said, we did expect a bit more, and... More

San Dune Hotel is off the beaten track in the little beach town of Manzanita, but only by a couple blocks. It's inexpensive, very dog-friendly, and clean enough, and the shower has good water pressure--no tub. Kitchen has pretty much everything, circa 1990, cute and functional. The futon bed in the living room needs to be replaced. It's old and... More

Even though the San Dune Inn is not on the beach, it still makes for a nice quiet getaway. It's only a block off the main street in town and just a 5 block walk to the beach which stretches for 7 miles. Brian, the innkeeper, is quite the guy. After check-in, he gives you a map of town. He'll... More

We enjoyed our one night stay at the San Dune for what we thought was the right price. When we entered the room, we were a bit worried that it would be noisy, but it wasn't bad for a motel (Maybe because we had quite neighbors). The loudest noises were the mini fridge and the ceiling fan. The room was... More

This hotel should be embarassed to offer what it does. The room we had, with one queen bed, was filled up by the bed. There were two hard-backed chairs and a table, a small refrigerator and microwave, and a cheap T.V. with...wait for it...VHS tape player if you wanted movies. The proprietor was nice enough, but closed at 9pm and... More

Quiet, relaxing. We were given the "young lovers suite". This started things off great since we are not sooo young, We were around the back with a private deck, private driveway and a wonderful sitting area with a pond. Rooms a bit on the older side but have all the amenities that are needed and are very roomy. 5 minutes... More
