In town to visit a family member hospitalized at a large hospital nearby. Were directed to this hotel since close to the hospital & just off the freeway. Late night check-in but friendly welcome from the night clerk. Carpeting in the room in desperate need of restretching and/or replacing. Tripped over the "bubbles" several times. On the map I thought, this place was too far from downtown and located in an industrial area with nothing around. The reviews here gave me hope that it would be OK though. We stayed here before and will always return when we are in Portland. The hotel has easy access on and off the freeway. The location is great for NW 23rd and downtown.
