For skiers/boarders, Best Western Sandy Inn is about 50 minutes away from Mt Hood when the road is bare. If you are skiing multiple days, it makes more sense to stay closer to the mountain as the traffic getting off the mountain is worse than many other resort in the northwest. “Comfortable Stay”

The hotel is reliably clean, and the service staff is always friendly. Checking in and out is very efficient. The continental breakfast food items are OK, but we find them stale and unsatisfying. Thus a stop for good fod on the way to work was necessary.

“New Years weekend”

Planned trip last minute and couldn't get a room up in Government Camp for New Years weekend. Happy we got a room in Sandy. This hotel was about a half hour from Ski Bowl. Very clean and pet friendly. Convenient to grocery stores and fast food.

Stayed here two days -- work and leisure. Great visit thru Sandy and Mt. Hood. Excellent customer service and the breakfast was good (the room was spacious -- a lot of the BWs have way too small of rooms to serve breakfast and this is a huge pet peeve of mine with the chain).

Friendly staff, clean room, everything as it should be. As another reviewer said, the breakfast spread wasn't extensive but adequate nonetheless. Would certainly recommend & stay here again if we're in the area.
