My daughter and I stayed here for one night while visiting Dickinson College. It was a lovely home, lots of privacy, good breakfast, comfortable beds, but most important incredibly helpful hosts. They guided us to restaurant that was really good, which was a pleasant surprise and being from NYC food is important to us. More

We booked two rooms at Carlisle House and were thrilled with both. The kids had the absolute cutest room on the top floor. Owner was very helpful and showed us all around and gave us a great idea on that evening's dinner. Would definitely stay here again! More

We were visiting Dickinson College and only stayed one night. Alan was a great host who gave us tips about dining and the town. We stayed in a suite which was very nice and the beds were so comfortable. Breakfast was amazing. We would definitely stay here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Carlisle. More

We were just there for the second time. The rooms are comfortable and clean and the historic home is lovely. The new bathroom this time was divine. I loved my too-brief stay at the Carlisle House. Totally relaxing, wonderful traditional charm with all the modern amenities and conveniences. Alan and Mary are incredibly warm and helpful, without ever being intrusive. And the breakfasts - made by Mary - are unreal. More
