Kim hosted a flawless outdoor wedding for our daughter and son-in-law on a perfect October day. The whole family stayed in the B and B, and everything from breakfast to the garden to coordinating with the caterer was done with care and professionalism. I can't say enough good things about how beautiful and well run Fall Tree Farm B and... More

Pull off the highway and wind your way through a wooded drive to a peaceful homestead. This classic farmhouse is beautifully appointed to take you back in time. We stayed in the Graham Retreat room and had a cozy evening by the fire. Featherbed mattress toppers welcome you to a wonderful night's sleep. Kim is a consumate host and a... More

Staying at Fallen Tree Farm was one of the most pleasant hotel/travel experiences of my life. We rented the entire inn for my husband's family to visit, and it couldn't have been a better experience. The rooms are great: charming, historical, idiosyncratic, incredibly comfortable--and all without exploding with doilies or frills. Each room has been renovated over the past few... More

We are so glad we stopped in Carlisle to break up our drive to Poughkeepsie for Thanksgiving. We enjoyed our stay at Fallen Tree. We had the third floor bedroom which was charming and comfortable. Kim's sister was breakfast chef and we enjoyed chatting with her. Definitely think this family is in the right business. They enjoy people and are... More

What a wonderful hidden gem! We had a wonderful stay and felt like we were spending the night at a friend's house. When we arrived, we were greeted by the two resident dogs. We unpacked and went out to dinner. We told them that we were going to start a fire when we got back. They not only started the... More

Looking for peace and serenity? Spend a night (or several) at the Fallen Tree Farm B&B. My niece had booked her wedding next Fall there and now I know why. The historic house is charming and the surrounding grounds are beautifully landscaped and provide a peaceful sanctuary. The owners, Kim and Brent, are so friendly and accomodating, and all but... We decided to break up our drive to Port Washington, NY in June by staying overnight in Carlisle, a small town about which we knew little. We picked Fallen Tree Farm B&B among several that were available in the area and are glad we did. The setting is quiet and beautiful yet not very far from downtown Carlisle. We had... More

This was one of the most comfortable, accommodating and enjoyable stays we have ever had. We were greeted by the most wonderful owners... it was like being at home. The room was cozy and immaculate! The home was charming and beautifully decorated... and they thought of everything! Fireside seating in the cool evening while the owls hooted, blankets for comfort...... More

Just returned from a relaxing trip to Carlisle and found this hidden gem of a B&B. Wonderful historic home and property with delightful rooms and scenic garden spaces. I stayed on the first floor (the library) which had a comfortable bed and sitting area complete with working fireplace. Kim goes above and beyond from ensuring that the fireplace was ready... More

We spent two nights here in mid-February and had an excellent time. This quaint little B&B is in a pretty area and features several cosy, delightful rooms. We stayed in the Botanical Library room, which had a great bed, nice couch, working fireplace and convenient-sized bathroom. It also had a TV w/ DVD player. We had some dietary restrictions and...
