The Cashtown Inn is a gem of a place when it comes to Ghost Hunting; my wife and I have been there twice and each time we have had experiences. The Inn Keeper Jack and his wife are just super nice folks and very knowledgeable about the history of the Inn and Gettysburg area. Great breakfasts, and if stay to... More

Dinner was acceptable. My DH had a good portion crabcakes, but my salmon was minuscule, but tasty. They need to rethink their calamari. The room was nice, but I had dream......... :-) The breakfast was very nice however. I would recommend with reservations. I guess it is what you want. I paid almost 200 q night for the Anderson suite,

My wife and I, have stayed at this Inn several times, and have always had a great experience. Weather you are a history buff, or a ghost hunter, this is the place for you. The Foods are exquisite, and the staff treats you like family. This B&B will never let you down.

My wife and I decided to do a return trip to Gettysburg and was looking for an authentic location to stay. Researching the internet I came upon Cashtown Inn. We booked the General Lee suite whch is the entire top floor. The suite was very comfortable from the bed to the chairs. The bath was spotless. The breakfast the next... More

My wife and I stayed at the Cashtown Inn to celebrate her birthday. We both enjoy history and paranormal activity. The Gettysburg area and the Cashtown Inn are great for both. We had a truly wonderful time at the inn. The staff were wonderful and the food was absolutely magnificent! We will definitely stay here again.

First, let me say that Jack and Maria are amazingly nice and are always happy to talk about the Inn or the surrounding area. Secondly, I want to encourage people to stay here. I make a couple trips to the Gettysburg area every year, and they are by far the best place to stay; I personally like the rooms in... More

We stayed at the Cashtown, my second visit there, just last weekend. Two girlfriends and I booked the General Lee suite for the weekend. Jack is always the host with the most. In his absence Friday night, Jack's right hand man Brian was a fantastic substitute. The meal on Friday night was divine. The house salad with the and the... More

My husband and I decided last minute to take a weekend trip to Gettysburg. I love history so I booked a room at this inn. We were in Room 2. We had a great stay. Everyone was very friendly; we had drinks at the Tavern Sat.night and breakfast, of course, Sunday morning. The stuffed french toast was wonderful. We did... More

My husband and I stayed there after Thanksgiving this year as my birthday present. The Inn and room were very clean, however, with loose toothbrush holder, cracked lampshades, slumping sofa, shower hooks that fall off of rod, and malfunctioning TV, accommodations were shabby, not shabby-chic (Anderson Suite #7). It would have been helpful to have pillowcases on the pillows inside... More

Quaint, charming, and historically significant. Excellent food. Sub-par furnishings in our suite. TV old and malfunctioning. Sofa had broken springs and was near impossible to get out of once seated. End tables barely big enough to hold the lamp. Few places to set things down. Yet despite these flaws it was still a pleasant stay. Jack, the owner I presume,... More
