The house is just breathtaking sitting atop a small hill as you drive up to the property. The interiors are stunning with original woodwork and decorating details. The rooms are comfortable and clean. I do agree with other reviewers about the shower....a bit on the tiny side, but it did its job. The view over the creek is beautiful and... More

Well I've stayed at all three of the B&B's in the Chambersburg area, and I can say without a doubt that this is the most amazing. It has the most beautiful grounds, and the mansion itself is just... astounding. They do a great job of lighting the outside walkways, and the Inn sits atop a hill overlooking a small brook.... More

We (parents with 2 kids, 5 and 13) spent a couple of days at The Inn last summer during a long road trip across the USA, and found the stay comfortable and restful. The breakfast was superb, and the room(-s) we stayed in was perfectly cleaned with very comfortable beds. Lew and Fran (the owners) were hospitable, and made us... More

Just returned from a weekend at the Inn at the Ragged Edge (found through Living Social) and overall it was nice but there was one incident that made our experience a bit uncomfortable. I travelled with my boyfriend, we are an interracial couple in our mid/late twenties, professionals working in DC. On our second day, as my boyfriend went alone... More

Thank you for sharing your thoughts. I am very sorry that I made you feel uncomfortable. I agree that I was not very tactful in my approach and could have done it in a much more respectful way, and I apologize for that. I will certainly do so in the future. It is very important to me and the rest... More

Just returned from two night stay at this beautiful Inn. Service was excellent. Breakfast was delicious and done with taste and style. Lots of attention to details, which is why I choose B & B's over local hotels or motels. It is by far one of the best B & B's I have ever stayed in. Nearby is Gettysburg, which... More

We spent two nights at this beatiful Inn during the first week of Feb. 2013. Lew the owner was very kind and hospitable. His wife Fran was very nice and a great cook! Great breakfast both mornings. My fiance and I went there for our anniversary this last weekend. And the Inn is absolutely beautiful!!! We stood at the Azalea Room which is on the 3rd floor and it's on of the smallest room within the Inn but it was nice and cozy we loved it. We got a chance to see the other rooms and they... More

My wife and I travel all over the world, making a point to stay at B&Bs whenever possible. They tend to offer a better feel for the area and more personalize service versus the chains or even boutique hotels. The Inn at Ragged Edge ranks as one of the best experiences we've had anywhere we've ever traveled. Run by Fran,... More

We spent two nights at this Inn. The owners are lovely people. Our room (The Nest) was spacious and comfortable although the bed was somehow lumpy. Breakfast was delicious both mornings. There is a common room on the 2nd floor where you can have coffee at any time as well as snacks.

We have just returned from a 2 night stay at the Inn. It far surpassed our expectations. The Inn itself is absolutely beautiful and the photographs available online do not do it justice. The Innkeepers were extremely welcoming and so very friendly. The breakfast each morning was prepared with care and creativity and each was delicious. Highly recommend the Inn... More
