We had been here for lunch a few times so we decided to try it for our anniversary dinner. The food was excellent and the service was friendly. I have even gotten gift certificates for family members and the owner is always very nice.

This was our second stay and it was very disappointing. Not only did the owners fail to mention an ecoli problem with the water while making a reservation, they also failed to mention it upon check-in. I have stayed here a few times and love the quiet charm of the Inn. The grounds are lovely and the house is very period but with modern conveniences. Stayed in many charming bed and breakfast's through the years. All of them had amazing, homemade breakfasts. This place had store bought mini bagels, yogurt and a bowl full of bananas and coffee. I could have had a nicer breakfast at a chain hotel for half the price! I am not sure what all the fuss is about.
